Gods Gift To Us ~ Animals

Animals are such agreeable friends — they ask no questions, they pass no criticisms. ~George Eliot

Until one has loved an animal, a part of one's soul remains un awakened. ~Anatole France

The Peace Of Wild Things

The Peace of Wild Things

When despair for the world grows in me

and I wake in the night at the least sound
in fear of what my life and my children's lives may be,
I go and lie down where the wood drake rests in his beauty on the water,
and the great heron feeds.
I come into the peace of wild things
who do not tax their lives with forethought of grief.
I come into the presence of still water.
And I feel above me the day-blind stars waiting with their light.
For a time I rest in the grace of the world, and am free.

Mac Our CockerSpan.

This face belongs to Mac our dog. He has been very sad since our Bee Bee Girl (German Shepard) past over to Rainbow Bridge September 16th. They were best friends and had been together since both were baby pups. So Mac is just lost without her here anymore. We are all giving him extra attention but he is very sad. He is 16 years old ( same age as Bee Bee) so I am concerned he won't come back from this emotionally. But we will continue to let him know how much we all love him, and he is important to us. Our furry friends are family and they need us as much as we need them. Until later this week..signing off for now. Love JudyBug  Give your furry friends lots of hugs

Our Bee Bee Girl

Two weeks ago I lost our German Shepard to old age. Her little heart just gave out. She was a rescue dog that had been abused by an owner. We took Bee Bee girl in and it was love at first site for us all. She just belonged with us. We felt it and so did she. She loved to run and play ball, take walks with her Daddy (my son in law). She was afraid of water because someone used water against her in some form of abuse. She never got over the fear. But other than that she had a full, happy loving home life for 16 years with us. She passed away on September 16,2016 at 16 years old. This is her and I miss her so much.
We will all miss her always. She was an angel in every way. I know she has her wings at Rainbow Bridge....Until we meet again Bee Bee girl you are loved and missed so much. ..Grammy
